It is with great pleasure that we take note of your interest in the LANKA PRINCESS Hotel. The hotel is under German management and the concept is an "all inclusive" service. We offer sun starved holidaymakers the comforts of a star class luxury hotel set on a magnificent palm fringed beach plus regenerative Ayurveda treatments. The main aim of the hotel is to offer beach holidays whilst you maintain or regain your health by regenerating and vitalizing body and soul.
This is a concept which appeals to many people. Most tour operators of repute in especially German speaking countries offer Ayurveda cure holidays at the LANKA PRINCESS. Comfortable and bright treatment rooms with high standards of hygiene and cleanliness can accommodate up to 90 cure guests per day. The German management and an excellent team of Ayurveda doctors supported by therapists ensure your wellbeing. More information is available in the following pages regarding the choice of various cure programs, treatments and beauty programs which are on offer. Taking into consideration the concept of our hotel we would like to bring to your attention, that it is not suitable for children less than 12 years of age.

Living and relaxing
6 suites, 45 superior plus 59 comfort rooms extravagantly furnished situated on 4 floors measuring 90 square meters and 45 square meters respectively. All suites and rooms are facing the Indian Ocean with each of them having a large balcony or terrace. The air-conditioning could be adjusted according to the wishes of the guests or switched off for natural ventilation. Therefore the doors/windows are equipped with insect screens. All rooms are provided with a safe, mini bar (non-alcoholic drinks only) and telephone. Fans and mosquito nets are available on request. |

Superior rooms and suites are equipped with DVD players, permanent installed mosquito nets and tea and coffee making facilities. Another vital aspect which differentiates these rooms from the comfort rooms is the location.
The suites consist of a large living area and bedroom with a large balcony in front. In addition all suites are equipped with a stereo set with CD player.
Bathrooms are fitted with bathtubs, cosmetic mirrors and hair dryers. Toilets are separate. Some of the comfort rooms feature interconnecting doors.

Dining at the PRINCESS
The Hotel offers to their guests only the very best during their stay. With this in mind restaurants serve you with an excellent and wide ranging choice of high quality food to suit the palate of every single individual be they holiday makers or cure guests. chefs take pride in not only the preparation but in their presentation as well.
Guests may enjoy buffets or a set menu in our air-conditioned “Batahira“ restaurant or on the restaurant terrace. The Ayurveda restaurant caters specially prepared food for cure guests. This ayurvedic food is prepared in a separate kitchen. Naturally, all guests may savor the food in both restaurants. The restaurants are located on both sides of the pond and are connected by a bridge. Our Lobby and Pool bar offer a choice of fresh fruit and vegetable cocktails in addition to an array of international cocktails and other drinks. Apart from the traditional Ceylon tea, we also serve you many varieties of herbal and fruit teas at the tea counter. All non alcoholic drinks are included in the package. Alcoholic drinks and espresso will be billed separately.
A sumptuous breakfast buffet awaits you in the morning. Lunch will be a buffet spread of local, international and ayurvedic cuisine to suit different taste buds. If you fancy something in between meals, the Pool bar provides daily afternoon snacks. The culinary highlight of the day is dinner. Depending on the particular theme night you may enjoy a buffet dinner or dinner with a set menu. Curry specialties will be available irrespective of the type of meal. Appropriate dress is recommended for dinner. |
